Frequently asked

How are import duties calculated?

In general, customs duty and any additional charges are calculated on the customs value of the goods (usually the price of the goods plus freight and insurance) at rates determined by the tariff code; VAT is then calculated on these amounts combined. The exact calculation depends on the tariff code and origin of your goods.

How long does clearance take?

It depends on the type of goods, whether the documents are ready and the type of inspection. We share a realistic timeline for your shipment during the preliminary review.
